PROJECT PROFILE

Rural Steel has through building Bridges, Jetties, Floating Devices, Geotechnical Services, and Engineering designs affected meaningfully the Life and economies of many rural dwellers in Nigeria, especially the Niger Delta Region. Some clips of the project’s sites are shown below.

Project: ORASHI BRIDGE

Client: Rivers State Government

Description: The Orashi Bridge is a Multi-span, 195m long across the Orashi River at Idu Osobele Village, Rivers State. One of the most challenging Bridge construction Undertaken by Rural Steel Bridging Limited.

Duration: May 2007 – April 2009

Project: Design of Woji Bridge

Client: Rivers State Government

Description Under design is the multi-span, 310m long Woji Bridge Trans Amadi, port Harcourt, to be constructed as a dualization of the existing bridge to ease traffic hold-up in the area.

Duration: Completed May 2008

Project: Design of Agba- Ndele Bridge

Client: Rivers State Government

Description under design is the multi-span, 310m long Agba- Ndele Bridge, at Ndele Rivers State.

Duration: Completed November 2008

Project: Design of Trans- Kalabari Bridge

Client: Rivers State Government

Description under design is the multi-span, 2.5km long Trans – Kalabari
Bridge in Rivers State.

Project: Eagle Island Bridge 1

Client: Rivers State Government

Description: Eagle Island Bridge 1 is located in Rivers State. It is a multi-span 66.9mlong steel Bridge on Pilled Foundation.
Duration: April 2007 – March 2008

Project: Eagle Island Bridge 2

Client: Rivers State Government

Description: Eagle Island Bridge 2 is located in Rivers State. It is a multi-span 66.9m long steel Bridge on Pilled Foundation, much like Eagle Island Bridge 1. The idea came up when the rivers state Government decided to dualize the road.

Duration: July 2007 – June 2008

Project: Ndoni Bridge

Client: Rivers State Government

Description: The Bridge was designed and Constructed to span Ndoni Creek, This Multi-span Bridge is 66.90m long, supported on two abutments and one center pier that is 7m High. Work commenced on the Bridge in April. It is a multi-span 66.9m long steel Bridge on Pilled Foundation, much like Eagle Island Bridge 1. The idea came up when the rivers state Government decided to dualize the road.

Duration: April 2007 – March 2008

Project: Tema Bridge

Client: Rivers State Government

Description: This is a Multi-span 237 m-long Bridge located in Tema. A state-of-the-art bridge on a pilled foundation. When completed, it will serve to link several hitherto inaccessible communities and locations
